Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Town of Argos, Green Twp and Walnut Twp, Marshall County, Indiana, that the Argos Fire Territory Board will meet at 101 S. First St., Argos, Indiana, at 6:30 p.m. local time on the 24th day of October 2023, for the purpose of considering the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year.
Appropriation Increase to the Fire Protection Territory Equipment Fund - 4410-01 - $58,000
Total $58,000.00
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finanace(Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
