Plan Commission Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:   Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Town of Argos Plan Commission on July 18, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the Town of Argos Municipal Building located at 201 West Walnut St., Argos IN 46501.  The subject of the hearing is the consideration and recommendation of amendments to the zoning ordinance for the Town of Argos, to address maximum lot coverage percentage requirements for parcels of real property in the AG, R1, R2, R3, B1 and B2 zoning district. This proposal applies to the geographical areas within the corporate limits of the Town of Argos, in addition to the two (2) mile zoning jurisdiction.  The proposal is on file for examination at the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Argos at the address indicated above.  Written objections to the proposed zoning ordinance that are filed with the secretary of the Town of Argos Plan Commission before the date of the hearing will be considered, and that oral comments to the proposed zoning ordinance will be heard.  This public hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
