ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Argos, Marshall County, Indiana, that the Argos Town Council will meet a 201 W. Walnut St., Argos, Indiana, at 7:00 pm local time on the 4th day of November 2026, for the budget for the current year.

Appropriation Increase to the 

General Fund-

Town Council - Improvements-                        1101-02-431    $82,000

Town Council - Equipment-                              1101-02-440    $183,000

Town Council - Community Development        1101-02-5452  $85,000

Fire Territory-Fire Equipment                           2243-01-5440   $100,000

Cumulative Capital Improvement-Expenses   4401-01-5300   $150,000

Cumulative Capital Development-Vehicle      4402-01-5442   $150,000

Total $750,000

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard.  The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance(Department).  The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within fifteen(15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
