ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Argos, Marshall

County, Indiana, that the Argos Town Council will meet at 201 W. Walnut St.,

Argos, Indiana, at 7:00 p.m. local time on the 18th day of November 2026, for the

purpose of considering the following additional appropriations in excess of the

budget for the current year.

Appropriation Increase to the

General Fund –

Town Council- Improvements - 1101-02-431 - $82,000.00

Town Council – Equipment - 1101-02-440 - $183,000.00

Town Council – Community Development - 1101-02-5452 - $85,000

Fire Territory – Fire Equipment - 2243-01-5440 - $100,000.00

Cumulative Capital Improvement - Expenses - 4401-01-5300 - $150,000.00

Cumulative Capital Development –

Emergency Vehicle – 4402-01-5442 - $150,000.00

Total $750,000.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The

additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of

Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written

determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriation within

fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
